After more than 15 years of experience growing leaders, from first time managers to senior leaders in global organisations such as Citibank and Royal Dutch Shell, Janet decided to carve her own path and focus on what she is passionate about – People! She draws on her Connectedness and Relator to help people see beyond the present. Described by her clients as caring, articulate and confident, Janet is skilled at creating a safe and supportive environment so robust conversations for change can occur. Expect to be engaged and supported. In her various leadership and coaching roles, Janet has worked as a cultural bridge supporting executives to build skills in areas of stakeholder management, and performance management and to integrate diverse global teams. Janet has also facilitated in the Netherlands, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. One of Janet’s passions is to help bring mindfulness and resilience to her clients in this somewhat stressful/chaotic world. Janet found her balance ‘accidentally’ when she picked up yoga 3 years back. What was meant to be an alternative ‘sport’ to improve her flexibility led her to a new exciting journey of mindfulness. The benefits that she saw in herself resulting from her yoga practice made her take up the Teacher’s accreditation – so that she can bring this to her corporate clients who are very busy people leading a hectic and stressful life-style. As a freelance yoga teacher, Janet teaches at both corporate and community classes as she believes this should be made available to everyone and anyone. Janet also holds an MSc in HRD & Performance Management (University of Leicester).
